$5 Million Borgata Poker Open

A favorite tour destination will once again play host to the World Poker Tour. The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa will be the location for the Borgata Poker Open for the third year running, with games running this week and the final events in the Open running from September 19 to September 22.
Poker pro David Williams is excited about returning to the Borgata. "I am really looking forward to the Borgata Poker Open this year," said Williams. "The stakes will be higher, there will be more talent, and I always enjoy the energy, atmosphere and people at Borgata. It is one of my favorite destinations on the tour."
With around 500 players, the prize pool is estimated at $5 million.
The Travel Channel will air the $10,000 buy-in, No-Limit Texas Hold’em WPT events, with final tables shown at 9pm Eastern Time on Wednesday nights.
