Chinese Poker FAQ Clears The Air

07th of November 2005

Gambling expert Daniel Fong found a lot of misinformation online regarding one of his favorite games, and decided to launch his own website to clear the air. The poker draw variant, Chinese Poker, is hugely popular in the Asian community and is gaining a fan base in the West because of the easy rules and fun to be had. The problem is finding clear and correct rules on the game online.

"I made Chinese Poker FAQ because I really enjoy Chinese Poker, and after searching for information on the web, I was truly disgusted with what I found," says Fong. "One website I came across said that 'Chinese Poker is played with a standard 52 card deck and 13 cards are dealt to each player'. They are correct in this regard, but they then went on to say that the game 'can be played with up to 6 players.' Tell me how can you deal 6 people 13 cards each... out of a 52 card deck?"
