European Player of the Month Named

“I have been playing really well of late, and I'm really enjoying playing poker right now. I appreciate the acknowledgement from William Hill, and it is always nice to be recognized by your peers.”
So said Tony G, winner of the European Championship and this month’s European Player of the Month, as named by William Hill Poker. Tony had some fierce competition in the form of Tony Bloom, winner of the Victor Cup, and London Open winner Iwan Jones.
'I played really well at the European Championship,” said Tony G, “and as with any win, I had a bit of luck as well. I look forward to playing a lot more poker in 2005, and in fact I am playing both the Speed Poker Championships, and the London EPT event this week.”
With the next championships on tap for October, naming the next player of the month should be just as challenging, and the result of great poker play.
