New Korean Poker Online

16th of November 2005

It was once called paduki in the land of its origin. When the card game came from Korea to the United States the name changed to Badugi, and was very popular in places with a high percentage of Korean-Americans. Now it is available to play online, a new product offering from Tribeca Tables.

Tribeca Tables’ Steve Cook said, “Players are always looking for something new. Badugi Poker is a game that requires a great deal of skill.” Badugi is derived from a Korean card game called paduki, which took on the new name in the U.S.

“(This) is going to create a great deal of interest on the net,” said Cook. “We are always keen to offer a variety of new games to poker players, whether pros or just starting out. Because a lot of players will be new to Badugi, it is going to offer a level playing field. Everyone will have a chance!”
