WSOP Owner Puts Poker Room In Caesar’s Palace
23rd of December 2005
Now that Harrah’s Entertainment, both the largest casino operator in the world and the operator of the world famous World Series of Poker, owns Caesar’s Palace, it was likely only a matter of time before the famous land mark gambling house opened up a poker room. In this case Caesar’s is actually adding a poker room for the second time, but it has been sixteen years since the last room closed down.
The $12 million poker room is scheduled to open this week, and joins a number of other Las Vegas Strip and downtown casinos in the rush to open up their joints to the lucrative and growing crowd of poker players. With the WSOP people running the show, it is very likely Caesar’s Palace will feature in the 2006 World Series of Poker in some fashion.
