Rounders
 The movie “Rounders” is credited by many with doing for poker what “Dirty Dancing” did for dance, but without all the prancing around. This 1998 release featured Matt Damon, Edward Norton and a movie stealing performance by John Malkovitch.
The Cincinnati Kid
 When most of us think of Steve McQueen, we get visions of the Hollywood tough guy tooling around in a classic Ford Mustang during a car chase that makes anything that appears on COPS look like the OJ Simpson Bronco chase. Mr. McQueen as wily card shark usually doesn’t make it into that mental picture. This is a shame considering how well he played one in the classic film, “The Cincinnati Kid”.
Maverick
 Usually when a western is made it involves some folks dressed in drab clothing, with the type of personality issues that only modern pharmaceuticals can fix. If you are Clint Eastwood in a western, they don’t even bother to give your character a name. Watching movies like this for any length of time can send anyone in a crying jag to their nearest therapist.
